Same. I need to weight up all these promises, see the leader debates, isnt one of those due about now?

I have voted for National in the last three elections, I am not sure I will this election. One reason is I am uncomfortable with one party being on the Treasury benches for so long.

In spite of what the Chicken Littles think, the sky won't fall in regardless of who gets elected. There is simply too much inertia in the system. Any difference is going to be more a matter of emphasis and style than a fundamental rearrangement of the deck chairs. The Titanic will sail on regardless.

I agree to large degree, National and Labour could go into coalition as they both sit more or less at the same point on the spectrum.

Bill English is supposed to be so straight-laced but things seem to keep emerging in the shadows. I used to think he was at least relatively honest. Now I'm not so sure. Yet another reason not to want to vote National, though there are already many others. I don't think they are a safe pair of hands at all. I think they are up to their eyebrows in dirty back-room deals and now they are promising every bribe they can think of to buy off voters. Not a good look at all. At least Metiria Turei was trying to serve a higher purpose with her confession. That is starting to gain a whole new perspective. I guess at least I can finally rule out National once and for all.

She is just a self serving individual, caring about nothing but herself. Her confession was just a bunch of lies, based on more lies. Its very clear now that she rorted the system, and was very far from living in so called "poverty".

And your response to the rest of @Rikkitic ?     You seem to have picked on a small part of it that has long been sent to history and filed away.

The Bill debate has long been put to history and filed away too. It makes no sense to me how some people can badmouth Bill, and National, yet in the same breath treat people like Turei a hero. Each to their own I suppose. Can't wait for this election to be over.

No different to those of you who bypass the inconvenient truth about the greens and Turei. Mentioning Turei seems to get many back ups.
