And here we have Trump acolyte Bannon comparing the orange buffoon and his flock to David Koresh. Is there no limit to how low he will go?
Also, pardoning the January 6 thugs will only appeal to a very small portion of his base. I can't see any Independents going for anything like that.

Funny how he only now wants to pardon them as he is looking to win another election, yet on January 7 the same mob was basically invisible to him 🙄

Strongly pro-Democrat, anti-MAGA.

But it does give honest news coverage, even when the news is "bad" (as above).  😟

Ivana was married to Donald from 1977 to 1990, and they had three children, Donald Jr. in 1977, Ivanka in 1981, and Eric in 1984.

Trump buried her on his golf course, for one of these reasons
  1. Trump is running an elaborate tax scheme.
  2. Trump really loves New Jersey (Ivana never expressed an interest in it).
  3. Trump is just keeping it weird

The Washington Post - Trump and allies plot revenge, Justice Department control in a second term

05 Nov 2023

Donald Trump and his allies have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal government to punish critics and opponents should he win a second term, with the former president naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations.

In private, Trump has told advisers and friends in recent months that he wants the Justice Department to investigate onetime officials and allies who have become critical of his time in office, including his former chief of staff, John Kelly, and former attorney general William P. Barr, as well as his ex-attorney Ty Cobb and former Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Mark A. Milley. ...

Trump has also talked of prosecuting officials at the FBI and Justice Department.

In public, Trump has vowed to appoint a special prosecutor to “go after” President Biden and his family. ...

To facilitate Trump’s ability to direct Justice Department actions, his associates have been drafting plans to dispense with 50 years of policy and practice intended to shield criminal prosecutions from political considerations.

Critics have called such ideas dangerous and unconstitutional. ...

This is the introduction to a long and depressing article.   😳

Sideface: The Guardian - Ring any bells? Trump boys show less than total recall at family fraud trial

In the US, the Fifth Amendment also protects criminal defendants from having to testify if they may incriminate themselves through the testimony. A witness may "plead the Fifth" and not answer if the witness believes answering the question may be self-incriminatory.

Note this does not apply to civil cases. If you remain silent, the judge (and jury) is permitted to treat it the same as the worst possible circumstances. It's OK to assume a witness' silence means they are guilty.

Otherwise Trump and associates would have had all pleaded the fifth.

Of course being silent doesn't work so well if you have email trials.

Also there are the signatures on documents. Both Eric and Junior claim they didn't know what they were signing. I guess I'll use the same defense when I sign a loan application at my bank (◔_◔)

Trump is probably hating the fact he has no control over court proceedings - as the judge said, it's not a political rally. HA HA! 😀

The NY Times - Trump Civil Fraud Trial - Trump Assails Judge and Acknowledges Role Valuing His Empire’s Property

breaking

In testimony both ranting and rambling, Donald J. Trump said during his civil fraud trial on Monday that he was more of an expert than anyone on real estate and acknowledged helping assemble documents stating the value of his properties. ...

The financial statements by the Trump Organization - which a judge has already decided were filled with fraud - are a central element of the suit by New York’s attorney general, Letitia James. She has alleged Mr. Trump and other defendants manipulated the statements to defraud banks and insurers.

The judge in the case, Arthur F. Engoron, repeatedly sought to rein in Mr. Trump, whose asides included proclaiming the proceeding as “a very unfair trial,” calling Ms. James “a political hack,” and an impassioned ode to his Scottish golf course.

Irrelevant, irrelevant. Answer the question,” the judge said after Mr. Trump said the course was in the oil capital of Europe.

Later, Mr. Trump complained that the judge had “called me a fraud and he didn’t know anything about me.” Justice Engoron then suggested that Mr. Trump hadn’t read the order where he found him liable for fraud. ...

Justice Engoron chided Mr. Trump several times, asking him to keep his remarks short and at one point striking part of one monologue from the record. “This is not a political rally,” he told the former president.

Just speculation, rumors and hearsay from July 2022 comedian Joe Rogan and fellow comic Tom Segura on The Joe Rogan Experience

Joe speculated that former president Donald Trump boosted his attention span and his energy level with Adderall

Tom: 'The thing that's incredible about that guy is, even when you watch him as president, he was full of f***ing energy, And everybody said he slept for four hours a night. He was one of those people.'

Rogan shot back: 'He's on Adderall' then put the question to his guest.

Adderall is a stimulant used to treat Attention Deficit Hypertension Disorder which is often abused by people to keep awake and alert.

Tom Segura said that he heard that the former commander-in-chief need to take the drug to stay focused and alert

The two men batted the issue back and fourth, with Segura coming up with some second-hand confirmation.

Segura agreed that the former president may have been using the drug.

"Because there were multiple people who used to work on 'The Apprentice' that were like, 'He's f***ing gassed up for shoots. He has trouble reading, He would struggle to read prompter or script when he was just, uh, let's say 'sober.'

So they would give him Adderall and he would dial in more on reading."

If you're wondering, “how long does Adderall last?”, the effects can begin around 30 to 60 mins after taking the medication, and last for 4 to 6 hours. The extended version lasts for 12 hours.

May cause
  • Increased alertness
  • Excitement
  • Accelerated heartbeat
  • Mood changes
  • Behavioral changes
  • Higher core body temperature
  • Raised blood pressure levels
  • Dry mouth
  • Hyperactivity
  • Tremors
  • Dizziness
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Heart palpitations
  • Headaches
  • Edginess

The NY Times - Trump Civil Fraud Trial - Trump Assails Judge and Acknowledges Role Valuing His Empire’s Property

"Mr. Trump seemed to undercut efforts to distance himself from the property valuations at the heart of the case.

Remember last year Trump asked twice about launching missiles into Mexico to “destroy the drug labs” and eradicate the drug cartels.

“They don’t have control of their own country, We could just shoot some Patriot missiles and take out the labs, quietly. No one would know it was us.”

I can imagine Trump saying "Nobody knows more about the property valuations than I ... and my big brain."
