I'm going to be a party pooper : How #DiaperDon Became a Top Twitter Trend Among the Anti-Trump Crowd
This video by New York-based standup comic Noel Casler first appeared on Twitter in November 2020.
All of his claims are unsubstantiated, including his claim that he worked on “The Apprentice”.
While Casler's claims may be true, and we may want them to be true, and they may explain a lot of things, they are unproven. 🙁
"Daiper Don" is a pun on "Dapper Don", the nickname of John Gotti, once the most famous Don in the New York region. [Dapper meaning ‘well-dressed’ and Don meaning ‘gangster boss’]

On one level this is funny and satisfying, precisely because Trump is such a monumental dickhead who delights in demeaning others. But after having a laugh about it I feel deflated and ashamed. Trump is a horrible human being and he certainly has earned this kind of humiliation, but it lessens me to take delight in it. Whatever the truth of the matter, real people do suffer from things like this and it isn't something to laugh about. I want Trump to be brought down, but not this way.

I strongly disagree here.
Trump has made a career out of the demeaning, verbally abusing and unashamedly humiliating people all for his own gain and satisfaction.
He deserves everything that comedians and prosecutors throw at him!
I feel no shame or remorse in watching him squirm on the receiving end.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
My take on it is he is finally being held accountable after making many, many people's lives a misery for soooooooooo long, and - seemingly - getting away with it.
Finally the chickens are coming home to roost and I bet he absolutely hates that fact. He can call it a witch hunt all he wants, but I call it just desserts.
Seriously, the guy is a narcissistic bully and has been for probably most of his life. He's not exactly going to wake up tomorrow, apologise to all the people he's hurt over the years and try and make amends, is he?
He deserves all he's getting. The old adage "treat others as you would like to be treated" is quite appropriate for Trump.
Just to be clear, I was referring to the 'diaper Don' thing. A couple of other posts slipped in before I posted it.

Raw Story - Trump is barreling towards 'gross paranoid psychosis' as the walls close in: psychiatrist
07 Nov 2023
Following Donald Trump's outrageous behavior on the stand on Monday where he testified in the $250 million financial fraud lawsuit brought against him and his Trump Organization by New York Attorney General Letitia James, a noted psychiatrist warned there are warning signs about his mental decline.
In an interview with Salon's Chauncey DeVega, Dr. Lance Dodes, former clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, suggested the pressures of Donald Trump's multitude of legal woes, combined with the possibility his financial fortune could be wiped out, are aggravating his existing mental problems which could lead him to incite a new wave of violence that the country witnessed on Jan. 6.
Asked by DeVega about Trump's "state of mind and resulting behavior these last few weeks," Dodes began by observing, "Donald Trump’s severe narcissistic, antisocial (sociopathic) character disorder means he cannot tolerate or even acknowledge losses or defeats."
Adding that Trump is losing his "grasp of reality," the psychiatrist asserted the former president is unable to deal with anyone who "dares to hold him accountable for his lies." ...
"Ultimately, he may decompensate to the point of gross paranoid psychosis with even more obvious incitement to riots and civil war rather than accept the reality that he has been finally held accountable," he warned.

Raw Story - Trump's 'train wreck' testimony would have been shut down in a jury trial: legal expert
07 Nov 2023
Donald Trump took the witness stand in his $250 million fraud lawsuit, but MSNBC's Chuck Rosenberg said the former president didn't do himself any favors in court.
"Things did not go well in court, not for Mr. Trump," Rosenberg said. "In court, he did poorly – his answers were rambling and incoherent. To the extent he's not answering questions, the judge can rightfully infer that the answers would not be helpful to Mr. Trump." ...
"There was no jury in this particular case, so the judge can hear irrelevant answers and ignore them and still make a decision on the merits, which I trust this judge will do," Rosenberg added.
"If a jury had been in the room, if the jury had been a trier of the fact, the judge would have had to really contain Mr. Trump much more than he did. ..."
"All this nonsense, all this rambling and incoherence, all this his idiosyncrasies, the things you saw in front of a judge is not something I think you're likely to see in a criminal case in front of a jury. ..."
As has been said before, Trump is the chief witness for the prosecution. 🙄

The NY Times - 5 Things We Learned During Trump’s Trial Testimony
07 Nov 2023
1. Trump Treads Carefully
During Mr. Trump’s four hours on the stand, he acknowledged playing a role in preparing his financial statements, saying that he looked at them and occasionally had suggestions. ... But he also distanced himself from the documents, placing the blame instead on the former controller of the Trump Organization, Jeff McConney; Allen H. Weisselberg *, its former chief financial officer; and his outside accountant Mazars USA.
2. A Witness Box Can’t Contain Him
Mr. Trump is voluble, even explosive, in his off-the-cuff speech, and Justice Engoron had difficulty controlling the former president on the witness stand.
3. James Is Trump’s Chief Target
New York’s attorney general, Ms. James, has emerged as a nemesis for the former president. He labeled Ms. James “a political hack” who had used this case in her effort to run for governor.
4. Lawyers Take Gag Orders Seriously
Although Mr. Trump went after Ms. James and Justice Engoron, he avoided mentioning the judge’s staff, specifically the judge’s principal law clerk, Allison Greenfield.
5. When Will It End?
There is no court Tuesday, because it is Election Day.
On Wednesday, Mr. Trump’s daughter Ivanka will be the fourth and final Trump family member to testify. The attorney general’s office is then expected to rest its case.
* Weisselberg has been totally loyal to Trump for many years, and has now been thrown under a bus. 😒
