15K stock loss, did you only lose 15K ?.

Problem for a business is that to make up for that loss you have to sell many times more that value to earn the profit GP$ to pay for that loss.

Then your cost of sales for that stock to sit there long enough to be sold and staff costs, working capital/credit etc to support the sales to get back to zero

The drag on your business is many times what the theft looks like on face of it.
Depending on your sales margin and costs of sales and business operation, cost of your credit line.

I can understand why businesses rapidly lose tolerance.

You guys just can't wait to put the knife in can you? If she did it that will become clear soon enough. Then you can slaver over her political corpse all you like.

What a shame she apparently can't just put out a basic statement addressing it.

On this point I actually am inclined to agree, as is a PR expert: https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2024/01/green-party-in-defensive-mode-over-golriz-ghahraman-allegations-pr-expert-says.html

Christmas break. Parliament isn't sitting. Any other time I suspect the Green Party would have to do things a little faster. That and, Green Party has a thing about due process maybe it requires the person is present in person to respond.

Is she even back in the country yet? She will have to make some kind of statement at some point. Wait for that and then you can burn her at the stake. I will even hold the matches for you.

That isn't how politics works. We endured years of being told that John Key would sell ACC for sure with literally zero proof.

Here we have a justice spokesperson potentially involved in multiple incidents of theft and total silence. The time to address this was when it first came out. They chose not to and continue to not do so. Choices come with consequences.

These are elected representatives. They are accountable to the electorate for their behaviour. Simply going incommunicado shouldn't be able to be used as a shield from scrutiny.

The scrutiny happens when she gets back here. She's overseas ffs. What's the big rush?

If only there was a way to communicate with people when they were overseas.

If only there was a way to keep people from interjecting uninformed commentary.

It is too hot and I am too tired to pursue this. You win.
