https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/im-ruins-teary-mike-lindell-tells-judge-smartmatic/story?id=120887538

Lindell, however, insisted that he does not have the means to pay the amount due to various financial difficulties he has suffered over the last few years due to what he again claimed was "lawfare" waged against him for trying to "secure the election."

It was the most secure election ever, you moron 🙄 safe to say the orange buffoon has most likely hung this loser out to dry!

Reuters - Trump confronts South Africa's Ramaphosa with false claims of white genocide

22 May 2025

Ramaphosa had hoped to use Wednesday's meeting to reset his country's relationship with the U.S., after Trump canceled much-needed aid to South Africa, offered refuge to white minority Afrikaners, expelled the country's ambassador and criticized its genocide court case against Israel.

Summary

  •     Trump baselessly alleges mass killings of white South Africans
  •     Ramaphosa and allies seek to counter Trump claims
  •     South Africa denies white citizens are persecuted
  •     Billionaire Johann Rupert backs Ramaphosa
  •     Ramaphosa in Washington seeking to mend US ties

Executive Summary: Trump makes an obnoxious fool of himself, again.  😦  He really is losing it.

EDIT: Trump claims that Australia is being ‘inundated’ by white South Africans fleeing ‘genocide’.

Banners of presidents Donald Trump and Abraham Lincoln hang from the USDA building in D.C.

The Washington Post - A giant Trump photo overlooks the National Mall. Not everyone is pleased.

22 May 2025

New banners on a U.S. Department of Agriculture building stir reactions from bewilderment to disgust to respect.  😦

(Trump has repeatedly compared himself to Lincoln}

Yep - America is slowly getting there - Fascist Dictatorship. I'm surprised "Old Glory" 🇺🇸 isn't hanging between those photos.

I was inspired to post this after reading this article this morning: How far can West Point’s ‘Long Gray Line’ bend before it breaks? And this article: Trump’s cultural overhaul throttles local arts, humanities programs nationwide.

The above and the following are merely a few of the articles that are available in the FREE PRESS, (CNN in this case) concerning individuals, organisations, and institutions, that Trump and his team (Project 25) are targeting. These entities are being targeted because they are capable of conducting research, teaching, and commenting on Trump's American vision (nightmare) in a manner that is intelligent, logical, factual, unbiased, impartial and which is fundamentally opposed to his/their ideological pogrom.

Trump and his team are wanting the brainwashing to start with these individuals and in these organisations and institutions. The rewriting, purging and destruction of American history and basic humanity is horrific. This is all being orchestrated by the afore mentioned parties to suppress, in his/their minds, dissenting or heretical views. These actions are their attempt to eradicate all thoughts, actions and deeds that they perceive to be undesirable or that do not align with their ideology.

It is straight out of the Fascist Dictatorship handbook.

Here is just a sample of articles out there:

Pentagon orders military academies to review books for possible removal.

Military was instructed to search keywords including ‘first’ and ‘history’ during rushed purge of Pentagon websites.

David Axelrod: Pentagon trying to "erase history" with diversity purge. (video)

Trump administration bars Harvard from enrolling international students

Judge blocks Trump administration’s mass layoffs at the Education Department.

DOJ to use False Claims Act to crack down on diversity initiatives at colleges.

Federal judge overturns Trump’s efforts to take over and cripple US Institute of Peace

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

The NY Times - Opinion - Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill Is the Same Old Republican Gruel

May 24, 2025

It’s 1981. A Republican president [Reagan] and his allies in Congress are promising large, broad tax cuts that will benefit the middle class and strengthen the economy.

It’s 2001. A Republican president [Bush] is promising broad tax cuts that will benefit the middle class and strengthen the economy.

It’s 2003. That same president is promising another round of broad tax cuts that will benefit the middle class and strengthen the economy.

It’s 2017. Yet another Republican president [Trump] is promising broad tax cuts that will benefit the middle class and strengthen the economy.

With each new Republican administration, it is the same promise.

With each round of tax cuts, it is the same result: vast benefits for the wealthiest Americans and a pittance for everyone else. ...

Trump appointed climate skeptic Doug Burgum to Secretary of the Interior.

Previously Doug helped arrange the Mar-a-Lago meeting with wealthy oil and gas executives where Donald Trump offered to overturn dozens of environmental rules and regulations in exchange for $1bn in campaign contributions.

The Trump administration declared a national energy emergency to expedite fossil fuel projects and reduce regulatory barriers. Interior Doug wants increased fossil fuel production to power AI data centers, in his words, to keep up with China.

The Cabinet Secretary Who Wants His Cookies Freshly Baked: The Atlantic

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum likes chocolate-chip cookies—preferably freshly baked and still warm.

This peculiar fact became the talk of the Department of the Interior in recent weeks after his chief of staff, JoDee Hanson, made an unusual request of the political appointees in his office: Learn to regularly bake cookies for Burgum and his guests, using the industrial ovens at the department headquarters.

That request was not the only move by his team that has alarmed some Interior officials.
... Burgum was focused on his status as the leader of a minor Cabinet department and that those who ran his office repeatedly made unusual demands to his employees.

His office leadership once instructed political appointees to act as servers for a multicourse meal. They also dispatched a U.S. Park Police helicopter for his personal transportation.

On at least one occasion, a political appointee was told to remake the cookies because the batch was subpar, according to three people.

Trump's reward dinner for top 'investors' in Trump's memecoin:

Stuff: “The food sucked... Wasn’t given any drinks other than water or Trump’s wine. I don’t drink, so I had water. My glass was only filled once.”

The coin dropped 10% after the dinner. All very predictable. Trump Wine? {Shudder}
