I wonder what the Labour ministers will end up doing

Running the government/country with NZF and the Greens. That's what MMP governments (including National governments and their coalition partners) do in New Zealand.

According to this page (which doesn't make sense), NZF has been given everything except PM.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/98170259/nz-prime-minister-elect-jacinda-ardern-reveals-cost-of-coalition

It makes perfect  sense to me, and means the NZF MPs will have a lot of work to do.
I'm glad they've got a good workload, and lots of responsibilities, that's what I was hoping for when I gave NZF my party vote.

Everything? So all portfolios are held by NZF? very strange! :-)

If there was a list of all portfolios, just deduct what NZF and Greens have. Remember, Labour has most of the MP's

Incorrect, ACT and Maori got paid off and sent away, leaving National will full control.

We have a new government. The old one's out. Isn't it time you all accepted that fact and moved on?

I can see this topic ending up like the President of the USA topic, endless going round and round in circles repeating the same old same old over and over again.

This govt is the most exciting I've seen for a long time, the old fat cats are out. The get rich quick schemers are scared.

I can't wait to hear what this new govt of extreme left (greens), left (labour), centre (NZF) plans to do.

But until then, I wonder.

Exactly. Even the Greens get almost everything accordin to that page.

I guess we'll know today.

Stop talking rubbish please. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about and that statement is bordering close to defamatory. Maori and National enjoyed a close working relationship with the Maori Party getting an awful lot of policy for their buck. They had at least one Ministerial seat and a lot went on between them out of the publics eye. I call it maturity..far more than what you will see with the new coalition.

They settled more Treaty claims than labour ever did, they created Whānau Ora, and much more. That coalition was probably too successful as there was never any drama for the media to report.

Its not rubbish. National bought their way in so the Maori party can get what they wanted for Maori, not for NZ. National got the numbers. Had they also had a focus on NZ rather than just their own wants, maybe they would still be here as an active and NZ/Maori party

You are comparing a small party that was in for 9 years, to a coalition that has been in for 5 minutes? Now that is rubbish to use your term.

Yeah I know they were just there for their votes. But how that is better than a coalition partner being given a full list of responsibilities, unless the 'senior partner' in the 'coalition' is running the government like a FPP government under MMP? (like National always do)

Labour/NZF/Greens. All responsibility is with Labour

They will then have a 100% mandate to do what they want, when they want, with whoever they want. As of they won a FPP election with 55% of the vote

Labour/NZF/Greens. Run as a coalitoin

The policies of all parties are diluted. No radical stuff. Agreed stuff. Should they work as a partnership, you would end up with a compromise Govt working together. Each party is involved and can support or show concerns, and end up with a better solution, rather than a Labour "we will do this, end of story"
