I wonder what the Labour ministers will end up doing
Running the government/country with NZF and the Greens. That's what MMP governments (including National governments and their coalition partners) do in New Zealand.
Incorrect, ACT and Maori got paid off and sent away, leaving National will full control.
Yeah I know they were just there for their votes. But how that is better than a coalition partner being given a full list of responsibilities, unless the 'senior partner' in the 'coalition' is running the government like a FPP government under MMP? (like National always do)
Labour/NZF/Greens. All responsibility is with Labour
They will then have a 100% mandate to do what they want, when they want, with whoever they want. As of they won a FPP election with 55% of the vote
Labour/NZF/Greens. Run as a coalitoin
The policies of all parties are diluted. No radical stuff. Agreed stuff. Should they work as a partnership, you would end up with a compromise Govt working together. Each party is involved and can support or show concerns, and end up with a better solution, rather than a Labour "we will do this, end of story"
You really dont understand how MMP works do you... I can give you the 'mince and cheese pie' explanation if you like.
Feel free. MMP decides the spread of the vote across big and small parties. Thats been done. Im talking about how the big and small parties might work in the 3 year term. Thats not decided by MMP stats, thats decided by negotiations, also been done. My points were the difference between this and the last government makeup. But let me know how MMP decides how the coalition will run post election.
Edit, the "Labour/NZF/Greens." lines should have been bolded as they are headings
