Indeed, I've seen more than a few quotes online say (if she gets the nomination) the election will be a case of "the prosecutor versus the felon".

Harris is very comfortable talking to a small room of close supporters. You can see great examples earlier in this same video. Harris gives her professional prosecutor contrasts to Trump's many failings at 18:33:

I have not seen Harris reach that earlier level at any large gathering. I'm sure Harris is very capable of exactly that if she recognises and puts her mind to it.

I forget how many in Kellys state of arizona, but not only is it a swing state, its a border state. If Kelly came out and spelt out the things Biden never does, ie they tried a bi partisan bill which was put to the speaker who after much consultation with the non congress member, D Trump, the bill was squashed. People need to know the corruption truth especially the states that only read headlines due to being working class folk who dont have time for politics.

Then Kelly could spell out what he would push through Congess/Senate and spell out some Trump level of BS Bill they would implement day one.

Don't know too much about the other potential running mates, thought Newsom might be a starter with his big profile and access to plenty of wealthy Californian donors, but I have followed the US Space Program and Cmdr Mark Kelly. Four flights on the Space Shuttle, two as Pilot and two as Commander. You'd think that All American Hero stuff would play very well to undecided conservatives who can't stomach Trump.

His wife also survived an assassination attempt in 2011 when she was a Congresswoman. Another interesting angle to counter Trump's own brush with death. As I say, don't know the other names so well but a Harris/Kelly ticket would get my vote given the alternative. Just not sure Harris plus anyone is going to be strong enough to beat Trump and his MAGA fanatics. We will see I guess.

I think they will choose a running mate strategically, ie swing states. Kelly is not only swing state but also Governor of a border state, he could really hammer home some realistic border plan they come up with and explain why a wall just wont do anything. i think given the migrants doing so much of the work noone else will do, or "black jobs" ugggggh, it should be more about "migrant workers with papers" alllowed across. People with no crime or no felony type crimes, who have the skills to fill the jobs the US needs, I just think that in some ways they should be thankful.

They need to flip the script, nobody without "migrant work visas" will not be allowed through and this is what we plan to do about people without papers doing work etc.

There will always be some who over stay, that is reality.

So one news station is reporting 46/45 to Trump, the only recent poll of RVs shows 47/45. So Harrris is starting from a good place, not great but Even essentially. Give it a week and her "pluses" should start to make a difference in the Polls. I think Repubs peaked too early, and unlike Reagan in 81. who was actually shot, his bump in the polls lasted 3 months.

I think Harris being a VERY competent prosecutor, will tear into Trump, the things that he has done but also what he has said.

Back to the running mates, I like Mark Kelly the mos, but I also like Roy cooper. I dont think it will be Wes Moore sadly for racial reasons, but of them all I think its likely to be Josh Shapiro due to the 19 seats in the Penn swing state. That article note having an African American and a jew might not go down well, meh Perhaps its sadly right.

Kelly looks like the ideal pick for a VP.

Fighter pilot including aerial combat in Iraq.

Astronaut including piloting and commanding the space shuttle

His wife Gabby Giffords was seriously hurt in an assassination attempt in 2011 (not just a nick in the ear)

His father and mother were cops.

He's from Arizona

Looks like a no-brainer from the outside.

Indeed, and antisemitism. I don't think most realised the Nazi party during WW2 which some time later became the American Nazi Party which I believe still exists. at its height had some reasonably powerful and famous figures (during the late 30s that is). It didnt need the Nazi party, antisemitism exists everywhere, I don't understand it, but it is what it is.
