Was watching US newsfeeds earlier today and am quite sure I recall a couple of them saying Trump mentioned that he had a call booked with the Chinese President overnight.

 

What's the betting that within the next 48 hours we see Trump announce some sort of trade dispute or minor sanctions against China?

They did talk. China wants the rhetoric to stop, and fair enough. Trump urged not to escalate. "It said both leaders agreed North Korea must stop provocative behavior." 

 

But what winds me up, is while Trump is a dick, the decades old issue is NK. They push it, then when threatened nations such as US and SK have ships doing exercises, thats tantamount to war. When they agree to pull back on nuclear, and don't, and get sanctions thats tantamount to war. Talks??? What a waste of time. And hell will freeze over before they get oil and food. 

 

Commitment by both parties that NK will disarm, and US will leave. Then sign that

Personally i have not done much research into the matter ........... Trump probably less of a threat, Just a loud mouthed idiot with money who will probably be a puppet. My money is on Trump, If he doesnt win there would be quite a bit of civil unrest. 

 

 

 

Well done COIL. This thread of threads has been a lot of fun, in amongst the serious and ridiculous. Less of a threat? I personally think you got that wrong! Oh so very, very wrong. Certainly the civil unrest part is correct.
 
I thought it would be a little fun to look back at the first two pages and have a little chuckle and think "If only we had been in the position to know then what we have witnessed over the past few months" ............

Keep it up guys, I love this thread. Oh by the way. Fred99 was a little slow to the party with a prediction to Hilary and Trump being trounced on page 5. He has certainly made up for it since though with his brilliant comments about the Donald. I don't think he is a bad loser though - just concerned. Keep it up guys I really do love this topic. Just hope we are all around to read it in another 7 months time.

Did you read the article? It's not my advice, it's a detailed engineering analysis of the missile and it's payload by a physicist and two aerospace engineers whose whole careers have been spent analysing missiles.

So when will martial law be 'reluctantly' declared for the sake of security and then the Constitution 'temporarily' suspended and of course the current administration will have to remain in office indefinitely until the chaos and instability are dealt with?

The Virginia Governor does what Trump will not do. The Virginia Governor condemns white supremacists and nazis and tells them they are not patriots: (@ :54)



Trump as usual will not condemn his most fervent supporters and many of his campaign workers.

Its all nothing new....racism is as old as civilisation is and will never be removed. It can and should be controlled/legislated but will always be present. What is new is social media and the real media feeding the frenzy on top of an insane POTUS.

What is new is a POTUS that enables these racist movements. The fact he does not immediately repudiate these is telling what we need to know about him.

They're a few light years away from martial law at the moment. If this sort of thing spreads across a great part of the country then martial law will become more likely but right now, just like the thought of Trump being impeached, ain't gonna happen.
