dclegg: Trump is easily enraged. And when done so, he lashes out with fire and fury.

It's being reported that Trump is feeling increasingly isolated, and is in a pretty dark place right now.

He's old and extremely overweight. Throwing the above sorts of allegations into the mix has prompted me to put beer on him having major health problems well before any (still improbable at this stage) impeachment process even gets off the ground.

for the umpteenth time, he ain't gonna be impeached, unless he does something really bad and really illegal for example.

at the rate he is going, he is more likely to be committed than impeached.

Of course, his supporters will claim that the 'deep state' cause whatever is wrong with him.

for the umpeenth time..how would you know?

There is lots going on in Washington behind closed doors. Impeachment takes forever....plus the russian inquiry needs to complete. His lies to his own party and the people are surely enough. Proceedings wouldnt even begin before midterm.

Yep. And his longstanding policies of the wall, Obamacare, bans, and so forth aint happening. And trade tariffs. So his presidency is amounting to Twitter, and other amusing issues. No damage to date, except to himself. In near two years he will be gone. So all in all, its worked out well. He makes a dick of himself and the US, and he passes no bills as per his policy. Its like drinking diluted water.

You say he is only damaging himself. Cannot agree with that.

He has substantially damaged and is damaging the reputation of the US not to be trusted again in any multi country agreement. He has either quit agreements (eg Paris) or threatening to quit more eg NAFTA. He would quit Iran deal, but its not his call.

He hasnt made or attempted to make any new global deals other than to destroy anything Obama had anything to do with.

He will go down in history as the breaker of deals and the maker of nothing.

He is also delusional like the rest of his party that by lowering taxes for the rich a trickle down effect will follow. Once he and his party have done that, together with the other stuff America's growth will stall.

I'll be optimistic and assume Trump doesn't bring about the end of the world, via nukes or climate change.

If he's impeached tomorrow (fingers crossed), I'd say he's done more for liberal politics than Hillary could have ever achieved.

He has removed any pretense from the Republican party being for anyone besides rich Americans, or racists.

He's made it clear that social media is being used by governments to undermine democracy.

He's unintentionally also made liberal political discourse available to the common people. Now Americans hear about international politics from just about any comedian, including late-show TV hosts, such as Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

A number of TV shows probably would struggle without Trump:

* The Jim Jefferies Show (Australian comedian, with show in US)

* The Daily Show with Trevor Noah

* Last Week Tonight with John Oliver

* SNL - Weekend Update

For the world, it's allowing other world leaders to come forward, and stop relying on America.

He actually may be good for the US, and the world.

So I say: "Keep being who you are Trump!"

I meant to put and the USA, my mistake.

Tax cuts? probably wont happen like everything else. As to "the breaker of deals and the maker of nothing", yes thats right. The new POTUS will fix all that, meanwhile this POTUS does nothing. This Iran deal, that was to be cancelled, now its not, its changed to get a better deal, same ol thing. That and everything else will be put right by the next POTUS, and the US reputation which has never been great anyway, will be restored. The 4 years or less of wierdness will be over. No Wall, no new healthcare, no WW3, no nothing, normal service will be resumed

Tillerson denies 'castration' and says diplomacy goes on till the 'first bomb drops'

Rex Tillerson worked on Sunday to reinforce the basic lines of US policy on major international issues such as Iran and North Korea, all while having to combat perceptions that his relationship with Donald Trump has deteriorated to the point the president is, in the words of one Republican senator, “castrating” his secretary of state.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, Tillerson said the US wished to remain in the Iran nuclear deal and denied that China was confused about its North Korea policy.
Diplomatic manoeuvres would continue over the latter issue, he said, “until the first bomb drops”.

The secretary of state also denied he had, in interviewer Jake Tapper’s formulation of a suggestion first made by the Tennessee senator Bob Corker, been “gelded”.

Nothing to worry about, then.   undecided

They have grounds to impeach him, if they want to. The Emoluments Clause basically says he can't have any foreign holdings or business deals. If Congress were to enforce that he would either have to drop all of his foreign investments, hotels and other business deals. Not just pretend he is giving control to his sons.

Trump is mad but he's not dumb, I'm sure he has moles everywhere, within law enforcement and judiciary and the political establishments. What I'm saying is he probably has "protection".

NOT SURE IF SERIOUS.

I'll allow to go as far as 'cunning enough to hire people to be smart on his behalf'.
