The White House said Monday evening that if China goes through with its promise to retaliate against the US tariffs announced last week, the United States will impose tariffs on an additional $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.

MikeB4:

I bet when China goes to the Moon the US will claim it's their territory as it has the US flag on it.

I can't see the US being able to remain in the treaty I linked to above, when they're clearly looking to militarize space.

I presume at this stage that the point of Trump's "space force" is to protect US owned infrastructure such as satellites etc, then he's probably been sucked in to the idea that mankind has a hope of staking claims and "mining" resources - such as asteroids - something that won't be happening in our lifetimes - nor for many future generations.

Trump believes he can do anything, he is all powerful and he now wants to rule Asgard.

This is how white nationalists, racists, bigots lie to people: Ann Coulter says these are child actors.

Ann Coulter is a complete nut, but at least she can take a joke.

I think she likes to get abuse.

She not a whiny little b***ch like Trump

That's why they're landing on the far side. It's the only place in the Solar System that will be unable to receive Donald Trump's twitter feed.

CNN - Donald Trump's Twitter feed is getting more and more bizarre

There does appear to be a change in both Trump's Twitter habits and the content of his actual tweets in recent weeks - a trend that had become even more noticeable in the last few days.

Trump is not only tweeting more, but he is doing so at less and less predictable hours.

His actual tweets read like a stream of consciousness, verbal vomit - always (or almost always) focused on the ongoing special counsel investigation being led by Robert Mueller.

Twitter has transformed into Trump's very public venting operation - a forum where he can unleash his anger, bitterness and resentment and watch while his loyal supporters tell him that he's right. Always. ...

And then today, even as his party stages an open rebellion against his policies on the border, Trump continues to tweet and tweet and tweet. ...

He probably thinks that's an instruction - "how to be a witch".

It's Obama's fault! (/s)

Bet this won't be "peer reviewed" by the expert analysts at Fox News:

• Racial identification and concern about climate change strengthened while Obama was president

• Aggregate opinion trends indicate that the steepest decline in public concern about climate change occurred among white Americans after 2008

• Increasing levels of racial resentment are strongly associated decreased belief in climate change

• White Republicans with high levels of racial resentments have an 84 per cent probability of disagreeing with the statement: ‘Do you agree that climate change is largely due to human activity?’

Investigating the correlation between racism and climate change denial

... NOT REFLECTIVE OF THIS NATION

Yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and stop you right there, because it's obviously reflective of enough of you that you didn't stop it from happening.

Ok - what should they do?

The first "first world" representative democratic nation's politician to stand up and openly condemn Trump and impose sanctions will be effectively writing their resignation letters and handing power to the populist movements in their own nations.  Trump will crucify them - look what he's trying to do with Merkel.

We'll see. I know the far side, he is great, we will get on great.
