This will go down very well with the voters in the swing states. There is not a lot of love for things British or European in the states that got Trump over the line in 2016. Fox News will probably run these stories just before or after sports news & Billy Bob & Bobby Jo will love it. Guarantee that RT News will be gloating as well!

I doubt Trump will discuss the Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election with his infatuate Putin during the upcoming four hour meeting in Finland

The president says he’ll "of course" mention it, but expects Putin to push back. "What am I going to do? He may deny it," Trump told reporters at the NATO summit on Thursday. "All I can do is say, 'Did you?' And, 'Don’t do it again.' But he may deny it."

Ironically Melania said the same thing to Trump over Stormy.

Trump is claiming now that all the above is "fake news"!

What you say as POTUS doesn't matter, because, well....

12 more Russians have been indicted by Mueller for hacking the DNC.

Trump in 2016 -  “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.” (Russian attacks on DNC servers immediately ramp up)

Trump "I wasn't serious".

Trump now:

“I think that we’re being hurt very badly by the rigged witch hunt, it really hurts our relationship with Russia.”

At Trump's meeting with Putin, it'll be a one on one with nobody else present, no recording, no transcript.

What's the next headline?  Maybe 'Trump plays his age at Golf'   (Par for the Trump golf course is 72).

Fox News will show him sinking a long putt.

CNN will have blurry coverage from a super zoom camera showing Trump taking 9 shots to get out of a bunker & an even blurrier video that shows Trump looking for a ball in the rough, not finding it, and then taking ball from his pocket to pretend that it is the lost ball.

Sarah Sanders will say that the CNN video has been manipulated. Four video experts will argue on Aljazeera for 30 minutes without reaching a conclusion.

Scots arent impressed, but he has some support there

"The American president wasn't without some support. Three men in one corner of the square held a banner with the words "Scots for Trump" in large letters. They were protected by more than a dozen police officers"

From the Irish Post:

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump has been accused of "embarrassing" his fellow Americans by appearing to suggest that Ireland is part of the UK.

Mr Trump made the comments on the eve of his controversial visit to London this week, where he met the Queen for tea on Friday evening.

Speaking ahead of the trip, which began on Thursday, the 72-year-old told reporters: "I believe that the people in the UK - Scotland, Ireland, as you know I have property in Ireland, I have property all over - I think that those people they like me a lot and they agree with me on immigration."

LOL - (description of Trump's visit) - the Irish really do seem to have a way with words.

I totally can't believe that Trump walked in front of the British Queen today.  Even for him, this took insensitive narcissism to a new level.

Donald Trump's Europe tour a 'theatre of the grotesque'

extracts:

London: "There's no use trying," said Alice; "One can't believe impossible things."

"I daresay you haven't had much practice," said Trump. "When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day.
Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."...

US President Donald Trump's press conference with Theresa May was another demonstration of his White Queen tendencies.
He has no time for facts. They sometimes get in the way of stories about how great he is, which is the kind of story he loves to hear, and to tell. ...

Trouble was, who to believe? Yesterday's Trump? Today's Trump? Tomorrow's?

"I didn't criticise the PM," he said. "Fake news."
This was his description of the on-the-record interview he'd given to The Sun, which was on tape, and faithfully transcribed his criticism of her. ...

I suggest reading the whole article.

People have been saying this ever since Russia gifted him the Presidency, but what I still find impossible to understand, is that he still has a strong support base.  Having said that, this short video on BBC News underlines what sort of people support Trump.  The lady in the middle of the video's thumbnail is particularly full of hate, but they are all three pretty nasty people.

I do love how Trump cartoons have evolved.  The NATO illustration above is priceless, although my wife thought it looked like Boris Johnson.

Oh how the White House wrote on Twitter Trump was leaving the UK to go to Scotland.

Seriously, he leads a bunch of ignoramus dimwits racists.

It was all Obama's fault! (according to alt-truth president)

Of course they were "individuals" - just coincidence that they acted together.  They also ramped up their attacks on the DNC servers when Donald J Trump asked them to - but hey, that was just a joke.

Sasha Baron Cohen has punked an unknown number of GOP figures.  He apparently posed as "Dr Billy Wayne Ruddick Jr PhD" to dupe Sarah Palin. "truthbrary.org" is a real thing he's set up - a "fake-fake news" site - I assume he used running that to gain "credibility" with the dumb deplorable morons he interviewed. Perfect.

The hard conservative religious right uses the tactics (although not with humour) in organised hidden camera stings to "expose" the left or anybody whose views they don't like (ie "Project Veritas").  Usually they selectively edit to present an impression that the target of the sting has contradictory / hypocritical secret views.  I hope SBC has been careful in the way he's done this. I also hope it's less NSFW than some of his work from the past - some of which was pretty gobsmackingly and offensively rude (IMO - and I don't think I'm a prude).

Anyway, Cohen had the decency to let the targets know they'd been duped - and he's created some serious panic, "expert damage control consultants" seem to think it's best that these people out themselves as having been tricked - probably to garner support for the predicament their own words got themselves into.

The series "Who Is America?, will be premiering on Showtime this weekend. I'm not sure how it can be legally viewed in NZ.

Golf swings of Obama and Trump analysed.  The youtube in the article does play but first part has the golf pro. talking - then he gives 'frame by frame' analysis of the swings.

So Trump may have a better swing than Obama and Eisenhower (who was just plain very average). It seems that Trump will encourage playing partners to give him fairly long 'gimme' putts on the green.

While I am boring you with golf swings there is a Youtube with Ivanka swinging a big club:

Credit where credit's due. At least Trump knows Ireland and Scotland are in the general area of England.

Here's Americans are asked "name any country, in the world, on a map"
