John McCain has died, Trump tweeted his condolences. As @freitasm says, what a doofus. No style at all.
I heard on one report that McCain left a request that Obama and Bush should speak at his funeral. No mention of the orangutan.

Senile POTUS failing in hospital elementary school classroom:
There's a US flag on his lapel pin, there was a US flag on the wall, the flag with red, blue and white stripes is the Russian flag. Moron.
edit : photo added
Can't be seen on that photo but he actually started colouring the stripes in blue.
He respects the flag...

Arizona Republican blames McCain for dying just to hurt her campaign
On Friday, McCain’s family announced that the Republican senator would be ending treatment for brain cancer. Kelli Ward, an Arizona GOP candidate and supporter of President Donald Trump, then took to Facebook on Saturday where she and one of her campaign staff posited a theory about the news.
“I wonder if it were just a coincidence that Sen McCain released his statement on the kickoff day of Kelli Ward’s bus tour or if it was a plan to take media attention off her campaign,” the staffer wrote. “I’m not saying it was on purpose but it’s quite interesting.”
Ward replied in the comments: “I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that they hope is negative to me.”

Trump and respect should really never be used in the same sentence.
He respects nobody / nothing at all except self. He deserves no respect.

The worst thing about such disgusting people is that they do not even realise they are being disgusting. They only backtrack when they get negative reactions. If they had any values they wouldn't make such vile suggestions in the first place.

Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, they blame John McCain for dying when he did. How low and deluded can you get?

And self-important. He chose to die when he did just to undercut her campaign and steal her headlines. I hope the good people of Arizona dump her in the trash where she belongs.

Edit: I have also since heard that he specifically asked that the orange creature not show up. Now that is going out with class!

Washington Post - Trump rejected plans for a White House statement praising McCain
Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Chief of Staff John F. Kelly and other White House aides advocated for an official statement that gave the decorated Vietnam War POW plaudits for his military and Senate service and called him a “hero,” according to current and former White House aides, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive internal deliberations.
The original statement was drafted before McCain died Saturday, and Sanders and others edited a final version this weekend that was ready for the president, the aides said.
But Trump told aides he wanted to post a brief tweet instead, and the statement praising McCain’s life was not released.
The break with precedent of previous presidents - who have typically released effusive official statements for noteworthy Americans upon their death - underscored the bitter relationship between the two men ...
EDIT For someone courting the redneck vote with all his MAGA drivel, denigrating a war hero after dodging the draft five times may come back to haunt Trump.

I wish that were true but Trump supporters do not seem to be affected by any logic, reason, or morality. It really is a cult and that is both alarming and depressing. If it ever starts to crumble, it will fall apart quickly, but that first crack is yet to appear.

Washington Post - Trump, McCain and the waning of the ‘liberal order'
This is behind a paywall - so a longer quote:
Sen. John McCain, who died at his Arizona ranch over the weekend, penned an op-ed in the Economist at the end of last year defending the “liberal world order."
The Republican politician was an inveterate internationalist, a staunch advocate of the post-World War II norms and institutions he believed were essential to American leadership and global prosperity.
But with the rise of President Trump, the growing strength of right-wing populism in Europe and the resilience of illiberal powers elsewhere, McCain feared a great unraveling.
“They have turned inward economically and prioritized protectionism over integration,” McCain wrote, referring to Trump-style populists on both sides of the Atlantic.
“They have warmed to authoritarianism and embraced strongman politics. Most troubling, they seem to have given up on the very idea of liberalism itself, betraying the underlying will that is necessary to maintain any world order.”
The flood of eulogies that poured in from Washington and around the world this weekend hailed both McCain’s will and idealism.
The senator’s moral convictions, selfless patriotism and belief in decency, some argued, stood in stark contrast to the habits and instincts of the current occupant of the White House.
McCain’s spirit, wrote Post columnist Max Boot, remains “desperately needed at a time when his party has embraced an amoral, narcissistic demagogue who fawns over tyrants and flirts with isolationism and protectionism and white nationalism.”

What a doofus. He posts an Instagram message on Sen McCain... With his own photo.
Also, this is what happens when you have kids separated from their families for months. This is criminal:
