Another self-righteous, self-pitying rant from The Donald    (19 April 2019)

"Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed. Because I never ...

... agreed to testify, it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the “Report” about me, some of which are total bullsh*t & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad). This was an Illegally Started Hoax that never should have happened, a ...

... big, fat, waste of time, energy and money - $30,000,000 to be exact. It is now finally time to turn the tables and bring justice to some very sick and dangerous people who have committed very serious crimes, perhaps even Spying or Treason. This should never happen again!"

So the Mueller report is now, in the official White House version, “total exoneration,” except when it’s “total bullsh*t.”
🤒

The Des need to move on. They are not going to get him out with the Mueller report and they are not going to get him impeached.

Without some charismatic leadership and policies that appeal to a broad swathe of Americans they (and us) are going to have to put up with this truly obnoxious imbecile for another 4 years.

Reuters - Trump approval drops 3 points to 2019 low after release of Mueller report: Reuters/Ipsos poll

April 20, 2019

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The number of Americans who approve of President Donald Trump dropped by 3 percentage points to the lowest level of the year following the release of a special counsel report detailing Russian interference in the last U.S. presidential election, according to an exclusive Reuters/Ipsos public opinion poll.

According to the poll, 37 percent of adults in the United States approved of Trump’s performance in office, down from 40 percent in a similar poll conducted on April 15 and matching the lowest level of the year. ...

The poll responses were sharply split along party lines, with Democrats much more critical of Trump than his fellow Republicans.

That's the problem, they don't appear to be capable of moving on. They've done the Russian narrative to death for the last two years as a reason for Trump winning, seemingly unable to remotely comprehend that their princess Hillary was a very poor candidate to put forward, I mean who could have lost against Trump!

Hillary came with a lot of baggage and the Dems primary was an extremely dodgy process but the Dems main issue is that the liberal left absolutely refuse to believe there is any valid opinion other than their own and anybody that disagrees is immediately branded racist/sexist etc etc. Nearly half the country voted for Trump and until the Dems pull their heads out of their liberal a___s and listen to more of the US population then they are likely doomed to four more years of the political circus.

Do you have any evidence for those assertions? Otherwise this is just more ranting opinion.

You can call it what you like, it's an opinion I've formed over the past two years from digesting information from news sources, Facebook, Twitter, here, ...... and before I'm accused of being a Trump fanatic I'm not, I've said from day one he is unfit to be president, but so was Hillary.

No they didn't.  Turnout was 61.4% and Trump got 46% of the popular vote. Only about 28% of eligible voters voted for Trump.
Have a crappy democracy - get crappy leaders.

Textbook doublespeak there. Republicans - many of whom were once liberal / libertarian leaning, using the term liberal as a derogatory term.

You completely missed my point that Trump should of been one of the easiest Republican nominees to defeat by any even half decent Democratic candidate. Pretty sure history will remember the 2016 election and the Dems primary leading up to it as one of the Dems biggest failures as opposed to a surprising Republican victory.

Further to that I can't see any evidence at all that the Dems have made any effort to understand what actually occurred and how they lost, rather it's been a 2 year point the finger excercise appointing blame where they could. We also know from the 2016 polling that Trump's actual numbers are likely to be quite a bit higher, I think there is a sizeable percentage that like the last election will not publicly state support for him but when it comes to ticking the box they are sick of career politicians, sick of the constant attacks on Trump and probably just want the Dems to get on with coming up with some realistic policy that will appeal to the centre which is normally were elections are won/lost.

Sure, Dems misread the "game" being played.  They were slayed by a campaign of voter suppression, buttery males, stirring up of populist bigotry, blatant sexism, social media being used to spread divisive fake news, a massive campaign against mainstream media, and a dirty filthy liar - now POTUS.

The response (when they go low - we go high) didn't work.

I'm not confident that any future Dem candidate can counter that, and as such I'm not confident for the future of the world's most powerful nation.

You've bought in to it too, with comments deriding "liberals" and presenting the same old criticisms of Clinton that were rolled out in 2016.

You have also "bought into it" as you put it. The criticisms of Clinton we're more than justified.

Clinton also ran much bigger campaign than Trump, certainly from a financial perspective so I think you are wrong about and Dem candidate not being able to counter any Republican campaign.

If you also read one of my earlier posts again you have also proved my point about the Dems looking to blame anyone but themselves, it appears you also just can't accept that a large percentage of voters just didn't want Clinton as president, forget Facebook & fake news, she just wasn't good enough to beat as you put it a "dirty filthy liar".

Really?

That she was a weak post-menopausal woman, that she did something terrible in Benghazi, that she used a private email server as it seems is common in the WH today, that Democrats were running a child sex ring out of a pizza store, and was going to let the US be invaded by rapists and murderers?
