Hi all,

Are there any gotchas of using a Fritzbox 7490 connected by network cable -> fibre ont to get it to work with Voyager?
My brother is trying to set it up, The ont sees the fritzbox is connected so all good there.

He tried contacting Voyager helpdesk, but they (in his words) were not very helpful at all.
Last thing he got told to try turned off the wifi, so I have had to factory reset the Fritzbox and now I'm going through the setup.

I'm wondering if the voyager instructions of VLAN Tagging (802.1Q): 10
would equate to the fritzbox setting for using a VLAN to connect to the internet?
Or any other gotchas people know of.

Thanks in advance,
Tel

Should just be standard VLAN 10 and PPPoE with Voyager supplied username and password.
