Hi All

Thanks all for your replies with leads to different options

I think in my price range at the moment will be either the Laser (if I can find one in NZ) or the Veon if that still has region change capabilities

Thanks again for your information and discussion.

Cheers

Rob

The Veon at the warehouse is now only $79:

Can anyone confirm that this model is definitely region switchable for Blu-ray?

Personally, I wouldn't bother with looking for a region free Blue-Ray, since the regions are much better organised than they were with DVD.  I'd probably get a good player and leave it at the default region B (basically half the planet), and then get a cheap one and set it to region A.

Not sure about "launched" as it says it was released in July 2014, and that player has been around for quite some time. And it used to be cheaper too.
