Drop not shipping to NZ?  Noooo  Is that just that item or all products?

They've always not supplied all their items to NZ, and especially the HD 6XX, probably because of Sennheiser distribution arrangements.

That's interesting because I've bought both HD58X and HD6XX from Massdrop in the last 18 months with delivery to NZ.

Same experience here with both HD58X and 6XX. Also have purchased the EDC3 from MD. Maybe the option was dropped when they changed their name... ha ha.

Not a fan of the A2A location in Auckland Central, esp with parking such a nightmare around there!

It may not end up being an issue whatsoever...

Went past 75 Anzac Ave on my lunch break and I couldn't see any sign of a head-fi store! There's an empty store front, but it's just that, empty.

They have confirmed they have delayed the launch in AKL because of the situation in Victoria, shame, not sure what the new date is though, perhaps 8 weeks?

They did say they were opening a store, what, over a year ago?

Then they said they were recruiting and definitely opening...

Then they put a date on it...

Now they are putting it off again.

Colour me surprised!

Sony WH-1000XM4 might be dropping this year.

The various leak reports have led me to wonder just what is going to be better in the M4 than the M3. They appear to be dropping Aptx support and the appearance is identical more or less.

I've owned all the MX series Sony's after owning most of the Bose NC headphones over a long period, the MX3 are nearly perfect in my opinion. The fact my ears get sweaty can be frustrating, so if they fixed that, I'd *possibly* consider them, but in reality, NC is something I use when I travel by plane, which I don't see myself doing enough for the next couple of years it would seem :(. I don't see anything compelling in the MX4's to warrant spending to upgrade.

These two items might be related - in the Massdrop thread I previously linked the reason why Massdrop couldn't send to Australia was because A2A had the exclusive rights to distribute the HD 6XX there. I assume they have extended that to New Zealand once their store was due to open.

Agree about the sweaty ears. Proper leather instead of cheap junk pleather for another $50 and I will be in like a robber's dog.

There's aftermarket leather options available, however I'm sort of reluctant to change until the current ones go bad. I find shorter hair to do wonders too for the XM3 fitment for myself. Tried using suede pads on the M50X previously and those were good.. These XM3 pads are surprisingly resilient though!

I see dicksmith have the mx4 listed on their site for presale.

Tempted to throw my money at them.

If the mic quality for calls is good and I can connect two devices I'm sold over the bose 700s.

The Verge did a review yesterday

Looks like better mic / voice quality and two device connection like you wanted (unsure whether you were pointing out what it comes with or if they were features you wanted) + pause when you speak.

No major design changes (going off Whathifi review).
