A friend of mine has Sony MDR-ZX770BN headphones and a Samsung LCD TV, maybe a few years ago. He'd like to listen to the TV on the bluetooth headphones. He's not 100% sure what outputs the TV has, suspects it has headphone and HDMI.

Can anyone recommend a specific product that will do this? ebay/aliexpress ok, but he wants something reasonably reliable.

Update TV model is Sony LE40A557. It has has 3.5mm output, dual RCA, and optical audio.

Google suggests the Sony headphones support apt-x. Make sure that you get an apt-x Bluetooth transmitter. Makes the lag absolutely minimal.

I've got a telme2 (see http://m.geekzone.co.nz/Forums/34/Topic/201670). Works really well on a toslink connection, slightly less well on a 3.5mm analogue connection (I guess going digital -> analogue -> digital causes more lag). A couple of others on GZ seem to have a similarly good experience with the telme2 units.

Of course, if the TV allows you to adjust the audio delay, doesn't really matter anyway.
