Hi everyone who is interested. I have the Amazon Echo Studio Speakers with the Amazon Echo Sub also, amazing sound for the area we have and use predominately with a Deezer account to get the lossless Hi-fidelity sound. As it would be great to get these to be our home theatre system for out tv I was wondering if anyone else has tried to set these up through the Alexa app using the Amazon Fire TV and was successful?

I have been in touch with Amazon. Here is the story

Echo Studio Speakers do not pair with the Echo Sub when creating a Home Theatre Set with the Firetv4K

To realise Dolby Atmos sound through Echo Studio Speakers you need to have a FireTV4K stick.

Your Amazon Account must be registered in the county you brought the Firetv4K from i.e. you need to have an Amazon.com account if the Firetv4K stick was purchased in the USA in order for it to pair with the Echo Studio Speakers

My solution to this problem was to first of all switch my Amazon account from .au to .com then create a Home Theatre Set with the FireTV4K and the two Echo Studio Speakers which handles all the sound from whatever app on the FieTV4K then create another Set pairing my two standard Echo Speakers with the Echo Sub which handles Spotify, Deezer.

The result was worth it.
