Hi,

I have a question which i can't seem to find the answer for anywhere on the internet. You see i accidently

shipped a 3-pin componant video cable for my PS2 console,i didn't knew that you need 5-pin cable for both

audio and video. So why do they make 3-pin cables?..because PS2 has fibre optic audio output as well. But

i don't have anything and i was wondering if somehow i can modify my 3-pin cable to output audio as well.

Any technical link or advice is valuable.

Thank you.

no the cable will only have wires for video going through it. It would be a pretty big job as sony use there own adapter to av cords. You cant make apples from oranges looks like you have to get a new cord.
