Hi everyone I'm here new to NZ and I'm going to buy a 15 inch Macbook pro retina one from someone but I need to see if it's legit or not ? I need it for my university and I can't afford a new one right now. I used it today only and there was a fresh install os OS i can see plus there was nothing in icloud or efi boot password. How can i check if it's stolen or not? I don't want to get in any mess buying a stolen laptop. Advice please !! also let me know if i bought it and it turns out to be stolen one what can i do there?

Rikkitic: Why do you even think it could be stolen? Is there something about the seller that makes you wonder, or is it being offered for an unusually low price? Let common sense be your guide. If it seems too good to be true, there likely is something shady about it.

It's just a guy who's selling someone said he sells stolen stuff that's why !!!

That there is a red flag and I would walk away

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
