Hey guys.

I'm looking to buy a new laptop charger for my mum as she seems to have lost hers. I want to make sure I get the right one, so if somebody could point me in the direction of something that isn't going to blow up, that would be great.  Obviously looking for something brand new.

Laptop Model is HP 15-bw076AU. Laptop Input is 19.5V 2.31A.

I've had a quick look on Trade Me, and found ones which I think are the correct voltage, however the listing doesn't say that the charger will be compatible with the laptop.

Should I/mum get in touch with Noel Leeming (Where we bought the laptop from) and see if they can source one?

Thanks!

You can enter the serial number of the laptop into the search field up the top and it will give you a list of part numbers for that machine.  :)

I mis-typed your model number the first time but now see your charger is part number 741553-850

Official NZ parts supplier - https://store.emprgroup.co.nz/ProductSearch.aspx?searchterm=741553-850

None on TradeMe but if you use this search https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?&cid=8747&searchType=&searchString=4.5mm+barrel and contact the sellers to ask if their chargers are compatible with your model you may find a cheaper one.
