I purchased an HP EliteBook a couple years back, and sold it a year later on TradeMe with the 3 year HP care pack I purchased at the same time.

The buyer now needs to use the warranty but the serial number on the warranty and the serial number on the EliteBook don't match - they are one digit off (the last number should be a 6 instead of a 5).  I'm not sure if this was a Ingram Micro mistake or my mistake.

Anyone know who I can approach at HP to get this resolved?  I can produce the original invoice showing both purchased at the same time, and we've not purchased one since.

Any help much appreciated.

This has now been resolved.

Many thanks to freitasm for putting me in touch with the right contacts at HP, and thanks to Jessica Rangi at HP for having it sorted.

Another reason to pick HP, great service!
