Any one want to put an offer on Telecoms WCDMA network.... may need to offload it soon, no customers equals no revenue...

cafeg: It must of been where we were in hamilton, I'm up at the hospital and none of the XT phones onsite worked.
The old cdma network was fine though.

Interesting that all the XT phones on site didnt work. Perhaps Telecom did a Transpower and shut down some cell sites in various locations.

I'm not even with telecom and this latest outage, like the previous has cost me money - How? The company I work for, much to my disgust and dismay insist on using telecom for their communications, I'm the only one on the building site today with a working phone (Voda). So, builder, & electrician, and myself plumber/gasfitter need information urgently from architect so we can continue - who pays, poor old Muzza.
Anyhow, I will be pushing for a change back to voda where we were for a long time without any issues.
Will I get compensated by Telecom? Doubtful.
'Your company will reimburse you' I hear you say, yes they will, but they shouldn't have to.
Heads should be on pikes outside telecom house by the morning at the latest.

vodafone sims back in the iphone... again for now, undecided wether to premenantly switch. Even when xt is up my iphone drops in and out from it about twice a week.

At the end of the day vodafone just works.

At the end of the day vodafone just works.

The fall out will be great unfortunately as every single failure will now be highlighted and that is a shame. For most parts the network is great but there is so much down time that it overshadows all the good.

I hope some action is taken fast and the confidence is put back

It still ain't going in Kaiapoi. Makes it fun when you have international customers trying to meet you out in the country. Seems to have been on intermitently during the afternoon but not at all now. I know my boss is considering Vodafone - 35 cells plus landline and business internet.

Yes we still have a number of cell sites with problems south of Christchurch. There are also intermittant problems across a number of other sites.
