Amosnz:helterskelter07: Where does it show the DLM profile ???

Reading any of the last few pages would have answered your question.
DLM-1 1ms 0INP
DLM-2 8ms 0INP
DLM-4 8ms 1INP
DLM-6 8ms 2INP
DLM-3 16ms 0INP
DLM-5 16ms 1INP
DLM-7 16ms 2INP
DLM-8 16ms 4INP
Looks like you are on DLM-4.
My friendly Chorus installer didn't seem to know whether I still needed to use the ADSL line filters on my phone after he'd connected up my VDSL line.

It really boggles the mind that people install these things but can't figure out what they're for
stitch:
These are my connection stats, so which DLM am I on as 0ms is not on the above table!!

Torquenstein: I have the same DLM stats as stitch, with a lot more attenuation and way less speeds, obv due to my distance from the exchange (atleast 900m). But I seem to be pinging same as my old ADSL2 to Aux/Sydney etc, whereas at the start of VDSL I definitely had extra latency
This is comparing today with last week
1cf2: Had my vdsl installed on 1 August. 700 meters away from cabinet, speed so far is 10m/36m. dlm 4
How can I connect to dlm 1?

Jarsky: DLM is an automated process. It's highly unlikely you will get to DLM-1 at that distance as you will have much higher attenuation than say myself at ~100m from the cabinet.
I would expect at that distance to stay on DLM-6 or possibly move up to DLM-4 if stable enough.
If you want to check it you can Telnet into your modem and look at your INP & Margin readings, and compare those against the info in the VDSL Tuning thread :)
