FineWine:

Now they are getting over zealous.

I was getting Netflix spam using *****@xtra.co.nz so I was marking those as spam via the webserver. But was never receiving spam for my genuine Netflix membership email address.

But now xtra is marking those as spam as well. Hoping the "Not Spam" works. But I would not be surprised if I start receiving spam again for my non genuine email address.

You cann't win.

How do you know that? IIRC we dont see what they filtered, so we dont see false positives

Just as I predicted. I am now again receiving Netflix spam addressed to my NON registered Netflix address.  They have an address of: k Sveta Troica Block 321 Ap 52, 1309, sofia, Bulgaria. in the footer.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

We're assuming you are seeing this in an email client spam bin? As the system that xtra uses doesn't appear to classify spam, it just doesn't deliver it. Hence all the complaints about mail not showing up at all. In which case the client is doing the job for you. Only way to confirm is use the webmail for a week or so only

Thanks GEOMAX. We shall wait and see. I was wondering why I hadn't recieved any genuine notifications from Netflix, they were all going into my spam folder automatically. I unspam them and I start getting spam again.

Nope. This was occurring in my webmail.xtra.co.nz on my genuine Netflix address and they are/were going into that spam folder automatically. They were not even reaching my desktop macOS email client.

Ok, I now have many spam in my webmail spam folder. The spam folder has never worked till now, as SMX filter it ALL. Good. A LOT is not spam but there is no Not Spam option. Do I just move to Inbox?

Click on the listed email in your spam folder so it is high-lighted. Now in the mini menu bar that begins with the word 'Compose' you will see a "Thumbs Up" icon, click on that. That title box will say "Not Spam". When you do click on the Thumbs Up icon that email will automatically move to your Inbox.

Cheers
