As in the subject, I was in Canada for 6 months, was able to use my telecom Lumia 710 with Virgin Mobile while there. Just got home and stuck my telecom sim back in and she's a brick, no reception and in the network setup it tells me the phone is unable to locate any network settings. Has my sim been inactive too long?

Prepaid sim's don't get shutdown until 12 months after the last top-up.. So I doubt that the sim would have been shutdown.

I suspect the most likely issue will be you locked your phone to 2G only, or you need to select Telecom as your Network Provider or switch the sim back to TNZ rather than Sponsor in the SIM Menu.
