Has anyone else used this new modem and have had any luck with it?

Telecom have replaced my Technicolor Modem for a Huawei one and I'm currently using VDSL with them.
Now I'm having issues with the Huawei modem as it seems to have trouble opening ports for the Plex Media Server.
I have tried to see if I could Telnet my way into the modem to open the ports but can't seem to find any info on the log in details to do this.

I've also noticed the Huawei's line attenuation is higher than the Technicolor and have noticed that my DLM profile has changed to a less preferred one..
