I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. I'm hoping they will be able to offer them once they go "live" rather than in trial mode, I have home hosted domains and servers so it's fairly high on my list of things I'd like :-)
I guess you need to ask the question as to whether this is a feature a low cost ISP should offer. In my view it's not, especially when they clearly don't have a big chunk of IPV4 space.
Their are already other unlimited providers, but BigPipe has differentiated itself as being cheaper by virtue of reduced support options, and to me seems very much targeted at a "power user" audience. BYO Modem, no call center, etc etc. Power users are much more likely to want static IP's than Joe Schmoe. So yeah I do think it's something they should perhaps be looking at. They may of course see it differently :-)
Bigpipe: What's the best way of getting a public IP over CG-Nat? PM you? Message via website? And no IPV6 isn't a suitable solution sadly.
