I would be grateful if any of the Telecom people could help me out here.

I have a Telecom iPhone on all AoG plan with Telecom, and a private iPad on a pay monthly 500 MB mobile broadband plan with Telecom. I can register my iPhone with the Telecom WiFi network no problem by using the text code sent to me. If I try and register my iPad on the WiFi network ( I believe I am eligible as it has a 3G monthly mobile broadband plan as per the eligibility criteria), I cannot receive a text code to the mobile number registered to the iPad, (as the iPad cannot receive SMS), so I have to get the text sent to my iPhone number. I can then put that code into my iPad, and it will happily register and work on the WiFi, but then my iPhone will no longer work on the Wifi.

In other words, the system won't allow two devices to connect to the Wifi network if they are both registered to the same mobile number. But I can't register my iPad to its own mobile number, so I am stuck...

I would really like to use both devices on the Wifi network, independently, as they are both eligible.

Peter

Actually... I got this wrong - The Telecom Wifi system will let me register two separate devices against the same mobile number. When I tried to do this back in December last year, it wouldn't work. So either I was doing something wrong, or they have changed the system.

Anyway, I now have both my iPad and the iPhone successfully simultaneously able to use Telecom Wifi - thank you Telecom!
