Hello,

I need buy a modem for VDSL Turbo Bigpip plan.

I asked some options for support but that not was to much clean for me.

I just need a modem, because I have a really good router, so I don't want spend to much money.

Between the options bellow, which work in VDSL Turbo?

1)Micronet SP3501BS, VDSL2 CPE Modem/Route

2)TP-Link TD-W8960N 300M

3)Huawei HG659b

4)Huawei HG630B

5) D-Link VDSL2 - DSL-6740B/SP

Some different suggestions?

Thanks so much (Sorry for my terrible English)

do you just need something to do the VDSL side of things, and you already have your own wireless router? or do you need an all in one device that does the VDSL and wireless?

if its the Latter then the NF8AC is a good cheapish choice and will do UFB when it come a round

If you JUST need the modem,  then go for the Draytek 130

http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=2171714

It's about $140

alternatively,  you can buy a 2nd hand VDSL Spark modem from trademe for about $80-100, and run it in bridge mode.  That should be fine.

About 2nd hand Spark VDSL, the both models Huawei HG659b, Huawei HG630B works?

Thanks

yep,  both will work.  But, if it comes down to the same price,  then go for the 659b as it has Gb Ethernet ports and a/c wifi whereas the 630b only has 100Mb ethernet ports. (not that you'll need the a/c using it solely as a modem, but good to know it's there in case)

BigPipeNZ: cheers.  I have checked and asked the team to follow up with you.

Thanks,

Can you check the last option for me? Can you confirm if the product below works in DSL Turbo:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=900122820

the auction says it works with VDSL,  but I have no knowledge of that modem, so cannot say for sure.  the auction doesn't even state a model number to lookup online.

Honestly, I would steer clear of it.  Even if it does work, at $40 it is probably a complete piece of junk.
