Really Weird... The posting above appears to me as
Topic # 37107 posted on 6-JUL-2009 22:19

Is it my PC? I have Vista Ultimate SP2 fully patched using IE8.

Even stranger... I've just checked this topic from Firefox and it's not in the list.

It's your GZ profile timezone.

There's a menu on top of the page. Click Profile Options then click Edit My Profile. Look at all the options - there some you might have missed there.

While doing this check the Profile Options page for more stuff you can have on Geekzone - you probably are missing some other stuff there too.

This seems to crop up often. Is the default timezone for any new member set to NZ?

Yes, but it seems people change this on their first visit - sometimes to one day behind. We are looking at an "automatic" timezone based on your browser's settings.

What also happens is that people don't go around looking at all the option we have - there are lots of things around...

Ok I changed it thanks for that, was kind of difficult to find as i was looking for the standard GMT +12/Kamatchka etc drop box, i had looked through those options a dozen times and didn't spot it as it seemed to be an address section, i have to the best of my knowledge never altered it before.

In my case I don't know why it changed. It has been OK since I joined GZ until recently.

For the record I've just noticed that my GZ time advanced 1 hour recently.
