I've never really been bothered with this before, but with the current post I'm tracking and posting to, it annoys me that after I post a message, the page refreshes but goes back to the very first post on the very first page. Yes, I know I can scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the last page listed and then scroll down that page, but isn't there an easier way? Is there a setting somewhere I've overlooked, or is it working 'as designed'?

What browser are you using? With IE, FX and Chrome I always get the page positioned on my reply when I post something.

At the moment, IE6 SP2 (don't have any choice), but I also have access to IE7, IE8 and FX3.5, so I'll try one of them when I next post to the big thread.

So you mean this reply you just posted didn't show up automatically, instead the page just stayed at the top?

Sorry, but didn't see your response from earlier in the week. When using IE6 on posts with just one page, the page displays correctly in that it places your post at the top of the page. With posts with multiple pages, it reverts back to the first page. Using IE8 on another computer works as you described earlier.

So, it just seems to be an issue with IE6. At least now I know why it happens.
