As above. I’m using an IPad and Safari. If I post something or use the quote function then copy and paste a link, the link does not come out as live/working. I used to use a different browser (Dolphin) and that did work - but Safari, no.

This is frustrating and I’d be keen to hear any comments, solutions etc.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I’m on an iPad.

Before paste type without spaces [ url ] and at end of paste [ /url ], no spaces in brackets, I just put spaces so it wouldn’t try and link it.

iPad doesn’t support rich editor to my knowledge.

Safari has a 'request desktop site button'. That might work.

I prefer to bbcode. How to link in the quick reply. You're already using it.

There could be a badge for using every tag ; ).

eracode: I can’t see the ‘request desktop site’ button but I always use DT sites on iPad wherever possible, incl gz.

Click share in the browser and you should find Request Desktop Site in the bottom row of icons. It was the one after Print on my iPad :)
