Love the last bit:
Vodafone warned customers not to abuse the text service. "If you excessively use the Vodafone free text weekends, it may result in the suspension of services."
Not a slap on the hand or a warning but a 'suspension of services'. What is considered 'excessive use' and what is not? Lets hear from Voda what the number is - is it 1,000 free TXT's? Is it more or is it less? If there is a limit should it not be stated? Maybe they need to send TXT alerts warning that you have reached '80% of your FREE TXT quota'.
The good Voda giveth and the good Voda taketh away. Hammer away kiddies!
A bit of advice - Waiting up to 12 hours to get a TXT message through.... try Fast Post
