our monthly data allowance has just re-newed over night and apparently in 8 hours we have used 243GB, now this is not even possible even if we maxed out our connection at 1mb/sec and was downloading all night...

anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Obviously a bug with the usage meter, give it a day or two to resolve, if not phone the lovely people at the helpdesk.

Yes we somehow consumed 17gb yesterday compared to the usual 0.7~1.5gb/day. Wife called VF who advised they were having some issues and were unable to establish if the usage was actual or false so they immediately doubled our data for free which assuming we have no further issue has given us 13gb extra for free this month at no extra cost. Issue was dealt with quickly and effeciently, very impressive!
