No problem the Vendor has it all under control (lucky them checking logs saturday night) I will update the forum once issue is resolved.

Sorry delayed update the issue was resolved (Tuesday)

SMS going out this week to the 30 odd customers affected and credit applied to the prepay account

Only just heard about this now, why can't telecom do this? They won't even let data devices on prepaid let alone cheap plans. My Okta touch has simply become a music player.

It is quite an ok deal. Means I can retire my data plan and just put my one remaining vodafone prepay sim into the 3g handset and put money on it for data rather then paying for what I frequently don't use.

I love this plan... Thanks Vodafone.

I have determined that I generally only use maybe 3-4 MB a day, just using Instant messaging, Gmail App, twitter, and the occasional website on my berry... So I'm saving some cash! nice...

Seemed to fill the need of paying too much for data we don't use, but if you were using 10mb of data a day then this add-on wouldn't suit you much.

These new pricing data plans from VF is all a bit irrelevant, I'd agree and say about time - but I'm still gutted at the rort re you know what Apple ph launch - needless to say I'm not alone in waiting for telecom new network and true competitiveness on 3g. As a 6 year VF cust I'm off, memory is too fresh on VF treatment not too mention absolute awful VF customer service centre (35 min wait???). Paul - unfortunately VF has alienated too many people - I moved to VF cause I hated Telecom in the past - things seem to have changed once VF got market majority/dominance. I reckon you'll see a sizeable shift away from VF and they have only themselves to blame.

With all these problems with billing, I repeat my call for Vodafone to give Prepaid customers online itemisation of the last 10 (or so) charges on our phone.

As it currently stands I have to pay $1 to query billing charges - and have no way to verify if there is in fact a problem in the first place.

Why is it so hard to give us the "last 10 chargeable transactions" on the website?

I must say that I'm growing very interested in the new XT network, once Vodafone lets Telecom launch it. At least the call would be free (although if either provider put the above information online then it would negate the need for a phone call).

That is, lets hypothetically say that I ended up using 200MB one month, would that mean my total amount is $20?

As far as i understand, "overage" is charged once you have hit 200Mb, and is charged at $1 per day for up to 10Mb, on the days you use it. Above that is $1 per Mb, until the usage is reset at midnight.

ie. You go back to the casual data rate.

Edit: Ok I checked VF website - you can elect to buy another 100Mb for $10. Unsure if there is a limit to the number of times you can do this.

On Account: $10 for 100MB/mth then $0.10/MB afterwards

Prepay: $10 for 100MB/mth, then casual rate. However, you can buy "top ups" which you buy in $10/100MB blocks. Note that you may only have one "top up" on top of your core plan at any one time.

Yeah, I'll need to check - just a side issue, I'm looking at getting the older Vodafone Wireless Vodem Model E220 USB and wondering what is the signal/reception like. I would like to avoid having to spend $249 on a brand new one if I can avoid it.

Yeah, its a little offtopic but ontopic considering I'm looking at going for the prepaid broadband mobile internet and wanting to choose what device would do the trick.

It just says "prepay" and then gives instructions for Supa Prepay.

Do you know if I can sign up manhinli?
