cisconz: I uset to have a GSM amp that backhauled in 900mHz and rebroadcast in 1800mHz.
This worked well untill I replaced it with a sure signal. shhhhh don't tell @johnr

Correct me if I'm wrong but we don't use 1800 for Cellular in NZ, do we?

Both Vodafone and 2degrees use 1800MHz for GSM.

I suspect we'll also see an announcement of LTE in the 1800 band in the not too distant future.

This be owned by Vodafone NZ and would of been installed by Vodafone NZ as well

1800mhz has been used for 10+ years in NZ

They do the all 2G 900/1800 and 3G 900/2100

FYI they are now no longer installed on private property and Vodafone NZ always remain owner of the unit and there are very strict requirements before a mini repeater is installed

OK, requirement is for a company site where we get crap 3G coverage, either this or gulp, going to the dark side where the coverage from their network is good.
