Im failing to see the value myself.?Sure everyone has different needs.

Personally - I need a phone line and data. I want to spend around $90. I dont get naked in my area.

Looking through snap, orcon, telecom, slingshot, maxnet, telstra I dont see any difference.

Vodafone competes with this market very well, and if you include the sky discount, beats all of the competition in this market.

Sure, more data is nice and competition is great, but comparing apples with apples, VF still has my custom.

I agree. For us average users, Slingshot is better priced at $69 (for 20GB) - but when you add the $15 Sky discount to the $80 Vodafone Ideal package, VF are better value.

johnr:
nakedmolerat: maybe the rumours is true that vodafone did not manage to secure extra bandwith...

And the sky will be falling on our heads tomorrow,

This is a change for the 13th some people have jumped the gun and thinking this is it and the only change

John

Well the press release has been put out and still not mention of more to come.

I aim to misbehave.

That sounds a great deal, Vodafone should stop this drip feed rubbish otherwise the competition will just steal us all away, I am giving them 1 week and then I am out.

I aim to misbehave.

Vodafone has been good to me.

I'll wait out my contract regardless of what is announced but it would be nice if they can compete with the other players.

Or perhaps they have done as you requested and stopped drip feeding what you call rubbish.
It seems some peoples expectations are never met.

JohnR has done a lot for the forum and any info he can share is welcomed

I hope that they have unmetered services up their sleeve & are just working out a few details before they announce it.  Free steam data would be handy.
