timmmay: Call them up, they can probably manually release transactions.
Mattmannz: Whatever the reason, I find it pretty poor that the two big Telco's generally don't post advisories of issues and often aren't even aware of issues until they are pointed out to them.
Things go wrong but it's very easy to keep people informed about the issues. This has been going on for three days now and the message on Vodafone's status page only refers to today and that there are intermittent delays which is glossing over the issue really.
Matt.
While I realise we could have put the notice up on our Network Status page sooner and I apologise that we didn't, in my view I think you'll be hard pressed to find any Telco anywhere in the world who would make more detailed technical information available about their current outages. We're not updating the page because there really is nothing new to update.
I honestly don't know what more I can say other than reiterating that we're sorry, and we're working on it. :( The fact that johnr is conspicuously absent from any online activity today should speak for itself.
Cheers,
Lon
Dairusire: Quick question, I myself am on 2degrees (with a old 021 number) and the mrs who is with vodafone. It's been affecting my 2 degrees number aswell as my other 027 (work number). These are related I assume?

We're aware of a delay with texts between us and Telecom - can you describe the issue you're having with texts from 2Degrees? Some more detail would be awesome.
