I missed this because I closed down before 11pm.  I had a new IP in the morning.

How long did it last?

Did anyone report this to VF? - they are keen to be advised of any Island Bay outages, as new work is pending.

Yeah, I'm normally in bed by then too. I'm only up then if I'm watching something that I'm hooked on and really want to see the last ten minutes before turning the lights out. Then I can go to sleep nice and relaxed knowing how it ends and not stay up half the night wondering how it fini... HELLO VODAFONE OUTAGE. That's not at all frustrating in and of itself without robbing me off my growing restfulness and send me off to bed effing and jeffing.

So didn't report it. Decided discretion was the better part of valor and went to bed. Only smacked the pillow once too.

Thanks for the posts here and my apologies for the delayed response from me.

We’re aware of some FibreX customers who have been experiencing occasional loss of service. A problem was identified and resolved, last Saturday (25/2), which has improved stability across the FibreX network. We are aware of a separate issue which has similar symptoms but a different cause, and we’re testing software to resolve this. We plan to begin rolling this out late this week, and will advise when completed (could be a few weeks, depending on test results).

If you are experiencing issues, do let me know and I'll pass on details, the more info the better.

Sunday afternoon around 230, and twice yesterday - around 230 and 430pm - in Wellington, the technicolor lost logical connection (no path to internet) but did not reset itself to get a new IP, and the status lights indicated all was ok (up/down solid, online and so on). restart solved the problem but there seems to be no reason for why. Cable TV unaffected.

It's happened earlier in feb as well - logical path lost but status not reflecting loss of service - but so infrequent as to be a little annoyance.

@MikeHales - min internet is down again. Outage started at approx. 5.15pm. Lets hope this is a short outage...

Is vodafone going to provide compensation for the number of outages we are getting?

Did anyone else have an outage this morning from around 9am? I think it just ended now.

This week I've had a few situations were rebooting the modem + router helps, but in this case it didn't. The "online" light was out on the modem this time, where sometimes I used to get all lights on the modem just no actual internet through the router.

Had mine disconnected multiple times this morning.

4:27 am - 32min

6:28 am - 1hr7min

8:59 am - 1hr12min

I wasn't around to power cycle the modem so the duration of the outage was much longer.
