Intermittent access here in Strathmore, Wellington. It was working fine till about 15 min ago. Very annoying!!!!

I would jump ship but my partner loves her TV and getting Sky installed is a no go unfortunately :( (not that I watch much TV anyway)

Just died for me in Wellington about 15 mins ago. Modem is still connected, I just made a SOCKS proxy through a locally hosted webserver (different ISP though) and back to browsing faster than I usually do when TCL dont have problems.

Major problems with TelstraClear cable here in Christchurch this morning. Very slow loading times, no style sheets on US pages, and no access to Europe at all! Grrrrr!

Contrary to their status page, ADSL also had issues last night... and some sites still won't load this morning.

Still 100% out here, not a single drop of connection for almost 2-full days.

Speed seems alright for me, but I'm having trouble accessing certain sites - this page for example loads fine except for ga.js from google-analytics.com. Ironically one of the sites I'm having trouble getting to is http://go.bigpond.com (I wanted to show a friend how much the cable plans are over there). I've SSH'd to one of my servers in Perth and I can access the site fine from there.

Apparently there was a problem with their international caches which is now fixed.

They're not having a good run, I wonder how long until some job adverts come up on here for network engineers...

Not kidding there!

yes.... must be some stressed NE's in there some where... prob some that are wanting some sleep after spending all night fighting with the ERX.

Is it just me or as HFC got worse while ADSL just keeps getting better (in Chch).

Cheers Don

Yes, rather bad timing for them too as Cable was the primary reason for staying (Have been keen on HDi for some time).

I'll see what they say/do.

Both today and yesterday I've been having issues loading various international pages on TCL DSL in Christchurch. They ping fine, but they either take forever (as in, a few minutes) to load or the browser just gives up altogether.  YouTube pages currently load, but the videos won't play at all.  I can only assume this is related?

ya, they're having problems with their international proxies as well as the ERX fault that took out the HFC.
