Hello Fellow Geekzone members!

Tonight I just have a question regarding the Annex M modification to ADSL2+ technology. For those who do not know it is basically a variant of ADSL2+ that allows for a faster upload speed in return for a slightly lower download speed. For me this would be great for things such as Live Streaming and YouTube uploading.

I am currently connected to the Vodafone "Red Network" using the supplied modem EchoLife  HG556a. My question is, is there any way for me to get/use Annex M with Vodafone? I am asking for anyone from Vodafone or anyone who is in a similar situation to me.

I will be giving Vodafone an email to see what they say, but I would be interested in the communities' response. The modem isn't a big deal as I am happy to buy a new modem, however I am curious as to whether anyone has had any luck with Annex M with Vodafone's "Red" network?

Further more if anyone knows of any ISPs that do offer Annex M, whom in which it would be worth getting in contact with.

I thank you for any help/information in advanced.

-Aidan
