Hey guys,

hope you all well Cool

Signed up with vodafone today as my Telstraclear contract was up and signed onto the phone line, sky basic + sport and 100gb Warpspeed and of course the free T-box rental free for a year, now my question..

With the new T-box HD receiver that will be installed next week, the tv that sky is on is a old flat screen with rear projection so doesn't have any HDMI ports, Now.. I heard that they can still install the T-box on older tv's but they connect it with like the standard box not through HDMI, so obviously I won't get HD tv but can use the recording feature's.

Do I need to go out buy a new TV so they install it through HDMI?

Hi Erica

If you want to have Sport in HD you will need the HD ticket, and yes a TV that suppors HDMI.

You can still view HD channels, just will not experience the full HD quality without connecting via HDMI.

Ask the technician to connect component to your TV, if it supports component, for the highest quality non-HDMI input.

Hope this helps.
