Hi guys,

My grandfather brought an unlocked AT&T Inspire 4G for use on the Vodafone network. However, after using it for a while, he has found reception to be really bad.

I am guessing it is because of:

2G NetworkGSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 19003G NetworkHSDPA 850 / 1900
and Vodafone is different?

johnr: 4G is on the 1800Mhz band 3G is on 900 and 2100Mhz

Doesn't look like it's 4G anyway, just HSPA+ which is considered '4G' by American carriers.

At the end of the day that phone is unsuitable for the Vodafone and 2degrees networks. You'll need to buy a new phone or move to Telecom if you want to keep using that phone.
