You've probably seen the ads

Offering "HD at no extra cost"

But in the fine print... "HD access requires HD capable TV and you must subscribe to HD channels"

Isn't that extra cost ?

Confusing ?

Misleading ?

Scam ?

It's simply saying VF are not going to charge you extra to get HD like sky do on their premium channels.

"HD access requires HD capable TV" - States the obvious.... We'll broadcast HD to you but you're not going to be able to benifit from it if you have a non HD TV.

"you must subscribe to HD channels" You're not going to get any HD broadcast if you're not subscribed to a channel that is in HD, Everyone is automaticly subscribed to channels on Freeview that are in HD,

l43a2: if you want to get HD on sky for sports etc you got to pay 10 buks EXTRA; but on Vodafone that fee isnt charged.... which is good :P

also waived on vodafone ?

Sky charges a HD ticket fee so basically all channels. VF don't charge the HD ticket so again all of them
