Before I go to the trouble of going down and grabbing a Semble enabled SIM for my i9506 I noticed my phone is not listed as compatible on the Playstore, is that because I need to have the SIM first?
Just asking as I am rooted on ASOP and wanted to make sure it doesn't require anything silly like an unmodified phone (ie my KNOX is broken now).

mattbush: Its rather pathetic....firstly cause its android only .

I'm not sure whether that's supposed to be a joke or a serious comment.. It's pretty hard to a) have Apple support when Apple don't let developers access their NFC, and b) Windows Phone doesn't support the SIM Alliance API which has become the defacto standard for SWP integration.

Sembles uses what is right now the best technology solution for a mass market deployment. HCE will overtake UICC based SE/SWP eventually. If other vendors aren't willing to support what is as close as the industry has to a global standard for NFC, then you can't blame Semble.
