We're due to get an upgrade to UFB in a couple of weeks. It's the lower end package with promised (!) speeds of 30/10, so I just wondered what kind of actual speeds people have been getting (I know to an extent it's dependant on the house's distance from the box etc.) with this service?

Thanks for any figures.

Fibre isnt a copper service, where the signal attenuates as it goes along.

There is no difference in distance "from the box"

Realistically, most of the time you would be looking at getting the full 30/10 speed
