Good evening all. I have just connected to the Vodafone RBI service after years of frustration with an overloaded ADSL exchange. What a pleasure it has been to go from .2M down to 85!!

This evening I have been setting up my router for a game that I often play which requires a series of forwarded ports. I have set up all the required ports in the virtual server page as I would normally however it appears that none of the ports are actually being forwarded and I cannot connect.

I am certainly no network guru, is there something about particular to RBI that requires a different method to forward ports?

Many thanks

You could also use a VPN provider to give yourself a public IP on your PC which would resolve that issue possibly (with a performance impact)

Assuming PC.
