Hello everyone, I dropped my HTC phone and need a new one. I am with 2degrees but the phone I want is $70 cheaper at the warehouse with the vodafone phones. If I buy the phone outright under no plan (other than the free prepay sim they include) can I just use my 2degrees sim out of the box or will it only work on the vodafone network. There is a post on here saying Vodafone dont lock their phones but it is from 2011 and they clearly do now as they provide instructions on the vodafone site on how to unlock their phones. i just can't find any info on whether its just their fixed term contract phones that are locked all all their phones. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

All handsets SIM locked are clearly marked of this and it's generally the lower range handsets and if they are SIM locked it's $30 to get them unlocked in the first 9 months
